The Los Angeles Kings open up their season Thursday, Oct. 10, against the Buffalo Sabres. After finalizing their roster yesterday, we now have a good idea as to what their opening night lineup will look like.
Forwards:
Alex Laferriere - Anže Kopitar - Adrian Kempe
Kevin Fiala - Quinton Byfield - Warren Foegele
Tanner Jeannot - Phillip Danault - Trevor Moore
Trevor Lewis/Andre Lee - Alex Turcotte - Akil Thomas
It is worth noting, Andre Lee has been sent to Ontario Reign of the AHL. However, he could be called back up tomorrow and take that last line left wing spot. If not, expect Lewis to play in that spot.
Defense:
Mikey Anderson - Jordan Spence
Vladislav Gavrikov - Kyle Burroughs
Joel Edmundson - Brandt Clarke
Clarke could be someone who gets more ice time throughout the game. However, the Kings brought in Edmundson to be the stay-at-home partner for Clarke.
Goalies:
Darcy Kuemper
David Rittich
How do you feel this lineup will go this season?
