The Los Angeles Kings kick off their six game road trip on Sunday, taking on the Washington Capitals.
The Kings are hoping to break a four-game losing streak, as they still search for a complete 60 minutes.
The Kings will potentially get some reinforcements tonight in the way of Brandt Clarke.
On Thursday, Todd McLellan confirmed that Clarke would see some game action on this road trip and Sunday might be that time.
Clarke was taking reps with the second power-play unit at practice Sunday and could provide some much needed help in that area.
If a Clarke plays I'd expect it in place of Jordan Spence, however, McLellan has said the team isn't opposed to going with 4 righty's on defense.
Andreas Englund could be the odd-man out, but with a player like Tom Wilson across the ice they might want Englund's size.
With no morning skate, we won't know until warmups whether Clarke is in or not.
It's safe to assume Cam Talbot starts after David Rittich played last time out.
The Kings have been dominant on the road this season and need to find that form again after a tough home stand.
