The Los Angeles Kings are back in action Wednesday as they take on the Winnipeg Jets at home.
It's also a return to Los Angeles for Gabe Vilardi and Alex Iafallo who were traded to the Jets this summer.
Rasmus Kupari, who was also involved in that trade, is injured and didn't travel with the team.
The Kings are looking to get back into the win column after their first two losses in New York.
The Kings will be without Vladislav Gavrikov and potentially Arthur Kaliyev on Wednesday.
Jacob Moverare will fill in for Gavrikov on the backend.
Cam Talbot is the expected starter tonight.
The Jets will also be without star forward Kyle Connor, who's expected to miss 6-8 weeks after being kneed by Anaheim Ducks forward Ryan Strome.
Connor was on pace for a career year, so this is a big blow to Winnipeg's offense.
Still, Winnipeg's started strong sitting third in the Central Division.
It's also a second game, first at home, for Pierre-Luc Dubois against his former team.
Last time these two teams met, Dubois scored twice en route to a Kings victory.
The Kings will be looking for another big night from Dubois against his former team.
