The Los Angeles Kings are back in action on Thursday, taking on the Vegas Golden Knights in Vegas.
The Kings are coming off a big 5-1 victory over the San Jose Sharks on Wednesday.
After a poor start to Wednesday's game, the Kings found their feet and overpowered the Sharks.
It was another strong from Pierre-Luc Dubois' and his line.
They're now on a six game run of solid production as Dubois builds chemistry in Los Angeles.
This is too small a sample size to get overly excited, but Dubois has looked more like the player he was advertised as recently.
Thursdays game will be a huge test for Dubois.
This is the kind of game he was acquired to shine in.
This is a heavy Vegas team who's expected to threaten for the Cup this season.
If he can be a difference maker in this game, it's yet another reason for optimism.
If his performance drops and he's more of a passenger, the same consistency question will arise.
This isn't a defining game for Dubois by any means, but a strong performance will go a long way.
The Knights are on a franchise worst, five game losing streak right now, but you can never take this team lightly.
The Kings need a better start than the one they had against the Sharks Thursday.
The only change expected for the Kings is in net, where Cam Talbot will return.
