The Los Angeles Kings are looking for their first win in seven and some revenge on Saturday as they take on the Detroit Red Wings in Detroit.
The Kings have made a habit of blowing late leads and need to clean up their mistakes if they want to dig out of this hole they've created.
Todd McLellan has tried a few different lines changes and swaps to get the team going and is going back to the blender a bit again today.
Jaret Anderson-Dolan will draw in for Arthur Kaliyev and Brandt Clarke will draw in for Jordan Spence per LAKingsInsider Zach Dooley.
Kaliyev has looked better since being scratched in late December, but hasn't done enough to stay in the lineup.
It's been a rough season for Kaliyev so far and moves like this continue to put his long-term future in question for me.
In McLellan's defense, despite an improvement in play, the production has not been there from Kaliyev.
That's partially because of a poor line for right now and a floundering power play, but in the NHL if you aren't producing you don't play.
Clarke drawing back in isn't a surprise after McLellan's comments about rotating seven defensemen on this trip.
Cam Talbot is expected in net again for Los Angeles.
