Kings without Victor Arvidsson for a couple months
Two games into the 2023-2024 season, the Kings are already dealing with injury issues as a key player is out with a long term injury. Victor Arvidsson has suffered a back injury that will require surgery. While the timetable for him to return is unclear, Arvidsson's spot on the roster may not be there for him when he returns.
Two games into his NHL career, Alex Laferriere is getting an opportunity to play with some of the Kings best players. With the injury to Arvidsson, Laferriere has a chance to move up to the Kings first line with Pierre-Luc Dubois and Kevin Fiala. Laferriere has yet to record a point in the NHL in his short career.
