The Kings have the 20th ranked prospect system

The LA Kings have started a series where they will be posting 50 facts over the next 50 days leading up to opening night. Today's fact looked at the season of Quinten Byfield. The 21-year old was one of the best facilities in the league, but at the same time one of the least productive offensive players in the NHL last season. 

NHL Pipeline came out with its annual preseason rankings of team's prospect pools. The Kings ranked 20th out of 32 teams in the league. The Kings up and coming prospects are headlined by Byfield and Brandt Clarke who are both expected to be on the team this year.
