Lots of key moves have been made this offseason
After making key moves to acquire Pierre-Luc Dubois and Cam Talbot during the offseason, the Kings are looking to make a run at the Pacific division crown. The team did lose some offensive depth by trading away Gabe Vilardi and Alex Iafallo. The question now is, does LA have enough to make it out of the first round of the playoffs for the first time since 2014?
This season is expected to be a breakout for young guys such as Arthur Kaliyev and Quinton Byfield. As the Kings traded away from offensive depth for Pierre-Luc Dubois, the opportunity for young players to prove their worth is now available. Both players have seen some playing time in the NHL, but this season will be the first time they will both be regulars in the lineup.
