The Los Angeles Kings will be looking for some revenge on Saturday, as they take on the Anaheim Ducks for the second time this week.
With the Kings already locked into a playoff spot, and the Ducks already out of one, the result of this game is more about seeding for LA than anything.
The big story for this game involves Pierre-Luc Dubois though.
We saw that Anze Kopitar might take a game or two off down the stretch, and he will be a game-time decision on Saturday.
If Kopitar doesn't play, Dubois is expected to take 1C duties for the night.
This will be, by far, Dubois' biggest opportunity with the Kings. Of course, this will be a temporary elevation and he isn't going to take the 1C duty from Kopitar, but there will be no excuses tonight.
Assuming all things are equal, Dubois will center Quinton Byfield and Adrian Kempe, two of the team's best forwards.
He'll also have an "easier" matchup against the Ducks. If Dubois still can't produce a strong effort, alarm bells will be ringing in full.
It's harsh to put so much emphasis on one game, but that's where we're at with Dubois, it has to happen now.
There are some reasons to be optimistic too.
Dubois has shown some chemistry with both Byfield and Kempe in the past and this is a line that should fit his game.
Flanked by two hardworking, defensively responsible wingers who can both drive play should benefit Dubois.
On pace for career lows in almost every statistic, a strong performance in his cup of coffee on the top line would do a lot for his confidence. It would also do a lot for fan's confidence in him.
If nothing else, Dubois needs to come in with a lot of intensity and seize this opportunity.
Even if the production isn't quite there, if the effort is, he'll bank a bit of credit with fans.
