The Los Angeles Kings head north to take on the Seattle Kraken on Saturday.

The Kings head into Saturday's game on a three-game losing streak, something they haven't been used to this season.

It's also a chance to get back in the win column on the road after having their record-breaking road winning streak snapped last weekend.

Against the Winnipeg Jets, the Kings weren't at their best in many ways. They didn't have the usual intensity you see from them and were sloppy in transition.

They allowed quite a few odd-man rushes against which rarely happens for this team. They need to tighten things up heading into Seattle.

Finding their goal-scoring would be a big boost too. The Kings have been one of the highest-scoring teams in hockey this season but have scored just five goals in their last three games.

This team is built around a deep forward core and needs more production from that group.

The Kraken recently snapped an eight-game losing streak and have won back-to-back games heading into Saturday's contest.

It's been a slightly down year for Seattle, currently on the outside looking in after making the playoffs for the first time last season.

The Kings will be without Vladislav Gavrikov again on Saturday and we'll have to wait and see if it's Jacob Moverare or Tobias Bjornfot replacing him.

They'll also be without Pheonix Copley, who left practice on Friday and is currently unavailable.

David Rittich was recalled on an emergency basis, but I'd expect Cam Talbot to start.
