It had been reported that the Los Angeles Kings had former King Tyler Toffoli on their radar and could be looking to reunite with him.

Unfortunately, he is returning to California, but it isn't with the Kings. It has been reported by numerous media outlets that he has signed a four-year deal with the San Jose Sharks.

The deal carries an AAV of $6 million, which will be kept under contract while the Sharks rebuild and get first-overall pick Macklin Celebrini acclimated to the NHL.

Toffoli split time between the New Jersey Devils and Vancouver Canucks and scored 33 goals and 22 assists for 55 points in 79 games.

The Kings will now look to find other secondary scoring options to help insulate their top stars.
