ST. PAUL - Wild defenseman Jonas Brodin wasn't at practice again today due to an illness and will likely be a game-time decision tomorrow against Chicago.
The sickness bug has been going around the team for a while now. Brodin is sick with the same thing that kept Marcus Foligno out against the Anaheim Ducks on January 27th, which was the Wild's last game before the All-Star break.
"Yeah, we'll see," Wild head coach John Hynes said on Brodin possibly playing against the Chicago Blackhawks tomorrow. "He's a little bit better today but just, you know help him get his energy back up. We'll reassess him tomorrow."
It's the same sickness that Zach Bogosian got too. He was sick Friday and Saturday but was able to practice Monday (yesterday) and today so that's a good sign.
Declan Chisholm, the Wild's newest defenseman whom they claimed off waivers over a week ago, still doesn't have his work visa figured out so he couldn't practice today either. The plan is for him to meet the team in Chicago tomorrow but he likely won't play.
