WINNIPEG - After Marco Rossi's two-goal night against the Winnipeg Jets last night, the Wild young forward tied Connor Bedard for the NHL lead amongst rookies with goals.

Rossi, 22, scored his first of two goals in the second period on the power play to get the Wild on the board after a nice pass by Declan Chisholm.

Then in the third period, Rossi scored again to make it 5-3 Jets but Nino Niederreiter later scored an empty net goal to give the Jets a 6-3 lead which was the final score.

The young Wild center has 17 goals and 33 points this season in 56 games and is now tied for the lead in goals among rookies in the NHL with Bedard who has 17 goals and 39 points in 42 games for the Blackhawks.

Rossi is currently on pace for 24 goals and 47 points in his rookie season.
