Wild reduce training camp Roster to 31 players

The Wild got key contributions from some depth players in their recent 3-2 win in overtime against the Blackhawks.

The Minnesota Wild have reduced their roster to 31 players after a flurry of moves. Starting with Ryan O'Rourke, Carson Lambos, and Adam Beckman being sent to the AHL.

They also placed forwards Steven Fogarty, Jake Lucchini, Nick Swaney, and goaltender Zane McIntyre on waivers for the purpose of assignment to the AHL. They will officially hit waivers at 1:00 p.m. central time. 

In addition, the Wild released Mike O'Leary and Joel Teasdale from their professional tryouts. The two forwards will report to the Iowa Wild's training camp which starts tomorrow, Oct. 2.  

Minnesota's roster is now down to 19 forwards, nine defensemen, and three goaltenders.
