With an assist from today's game, Wild top prospect tied a KHL record that was previously set by Vladimir Tarasenko.

Before the game for Metallurg Magnitogorsk, which is the best team in the KHL, Danila Yurov lined up as the team's second-line center. In his 56th game of the season, Yurov tied a KHL record.
The Wild's 2022 24th overall selection picked up an assist on Pavel Akolzin's goal in the third period with the empty net. It was Yurov's 26th assist of the season and 47th point.
His 47th point of the year tied Vladimir Tarasenko's record for most points in a single season as a 20-year-old. He is currently on pace for 23 goals and 52 points with six games left in the season.
Let's put Yurov's season in a different perspective.
Kirill Kaprizov had only 15 goals and 40 points when he was 20 playing in the KHL. Artemi Panarin had 13 goals and 31 points in 50 games, Pavel Buchnevich had 16 goals and 37 points in 58 KHL games, and Evgeny Kuznetsov had 19 goals and 44 points in 51 games all when they were 20.
Yurov is trending in the right direction and could be a huge scoring winger down the road for the Wild for years to come.
