Wild announce that Mats Zuccarello will not play for the second straight night and is out week-to-week with an upper-body injury.

A Wild team that is already without Jonas Brodin for about a month and Jared Spurgeon out week-to-week, the Wild have now lost Mats Zuccarello to an upper-body injury as well.

Zuccarello, 36, did not play yesterday against the Pittsburgh Penguins with an upper-body injury so Vinni Lettieri entered the lineup and scored in the Wild's 4-3 loss to the Penguins.

The 5-foot-8 forward has played in 28 games this year for the Wild and has recorded six goals and 28 points. Zuccarello played during the Wild's latest home game on Saturday and scored the shootout winner but was later announced as a scratch for yesterday's game.

Nonetheless, it's a big blow for the Wild if Zuccarello is out longer than expected. After tonight's game in Boston against the Bruins, the Wild come back home to face the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday and the Bruins on Saturday before entering Christmas break.
