Wild forward Marcus Johansson has been playing really well for Sweden in the 2024 IIHF World Championships. He is currently in the top rankings in terms of points so far. Sweden didn't play today but Johansson still ranks tied for third in the whole tournament in points. He has three goals and three assists for six points in four games played. He is tied with fellow Wild forward Matt Boldy who has three goals and three assists in five games. After what some might call a disappointing season for the Wild, it is encouraging to see Johansson on top of his game at the national level. Sweden plays tomorrow against Latvia. Sweden's team consists of five Wild players. Joel Eriksson Ek, Jonas Brodin, Filip Gustavsson, and Jesper Wallstedt are the other four. They rank first in Group B play with a perfect 4-0-0 record for 12 points. USA is second behind Sweden with a 3-1-1 record in five games with ten points.
