Novak, 22, was drafted by the Wild in 2020. He missed the 2022-23 season while undergoing treatments for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. He played last season in between the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Iowa Wild and the ECHL with the Iowa Heartlanders.
