Rafael Harvey-Pinard participated in the game day skate but will miss his second straight game.

Jake Allen is expected to start in goal for Montreal. Allen has earned the Molson Cup for October and will be honored prior to the game.

Brendan Gallagher scored a goal and added an assist. Juraj Slafkovsky notched his first goal of the season and his first since December 1, 2022.
