    The Montreal Canadiens prospect produced offensively in Finland's win on Sunday.

    The 2024 IIHF World Championship resumed on Sunday with games involving four Montreal Canadiens players in the tournament. 

    Oliver Kapanen opened the scoring for Finland and added a goal in each of the second and third period to record a hat trick in his country's dominating 8-0 victory against Great Britain. The center drafted 64th overall in 2021 took was named the best player of his team with six shots on goal, plus-4, won 55.6 percent of faceoffs in 12:58 of ice time.

    Juraj Slafkovsky added an assist to his totals in Slovakia's 6-2 win over Kazakhstan. The winger obtained the most ice time of all forwards with 17:54, shot five times and a  minus-1 rating. 

    Slafkovsky's competitive nature continues to be apparent as the 20-year-old taunted his opponents as he headed to the penalty box to serve a minor infraction. 

    Kaiden Guhle obtained an assist on Connor Bedard's first goal in Canada's 5-1 win against Denmark. The 16th overall pick of 2020 draft took one shot on goal and plus-2 in 18:08 of action. 

    Vinzenz Rohrer recorded an assist in a back-and-forth game between Austria and Switzerland. The forward took no shots on goal, plus-1 in 7:24 of ice time in Switzerland's 6-5 victory.

    Monday will feature a contest of two Canadiens star players as the U.S.A with Cole Caufield face Slovakia with Juraj Slafkovsky in Ostrava at 10:20am eastern time. The linemates matchup will be broadcast on TSN 4 in Canada.
