Players to Watch

  • Josh Anderson - The last time Anderson and the Canadiens faced the Kings was a road game on March 2, 2023. The 29-year-old forward potted a goal in that 3-2 loss, against goaltender Phoenix Copley. Anderson went on to score three more times before the end of the season, but hasn't lit the lamp since. With Copley potentially starting for Los Angeles today, could the familiar scenario finally end Anderson's goal drought?

Visiting Bench

The Canadiens will face not only a former teammate in Philip Danault, but they'll also face a player many speculated would become a Montreal Canadien: Pierre-Luc Dubois.

Danault has 13 points on the season so far (4G/9A), while Dubois has scored five goals and added four assists in 18 games played.

Game Expectations

Both teams are on the second half of a back-to-back for this game, and both teams traveled last night to meet in Los Angeles. And while the Kings are seven points ahead of the Canadiens in the standings, they have struggled to win on home ice. Can that help a Montreal team sporting a 4-3-2 road record?
