    Christian Dvorak will return at centre to play his first game of the season. Alex Newhook will move to the wing.

    Michael Pezzetta is expected to draw into the Canadiens lineup in p[ace of Jesse Ylonen. Rafael Harvey-Pinard has a lower body injury and is day-to-day.

    Defenseman Gustav Lindstrom was returned to Laval.

    Sam Montembeault will start in goal for Montreal. Cayden Primeau will be the backup.
