EA Sports does like playing around with its own games, be it to predict the Stanley Cup winner or entire careers. Yesterday, the gaming giant published career simulations produced using its latest hockey game, NHL 25. According to the game, Montreal Canadiens' defenseman Lane Hutson's career should be a great one.

Of course, it remains just a game, and results shouldn't be taken too seriously, but it's still exciting to see what happened in the simulation. According to it, Hutson should play 1469 games, record 339 goals and 1045 assists, and score a total of 1984 points.

Unsurprisingly, that number should bring a slew of awards, which did in the game. The simulation has Hutson grabbing three Norris Trophies, one Hart, one Ted Lindsay, one Conn Smythe, and last, but not least, two Stanley Cups.

While these are by no means scientific predictions, and Hutson will need luck on his side to have such a brilliant career, it's still fun to entertain the idea. Settle down, Habs fans. I do not mention luck because I don't believe in the player but rather because anyone playing with the Canadiens these days seems to fall victim to the Injury Ninja all too often.
