With the Canadiens needing a boost on the right side of their blueline, a defenseman like Zach Whitecloud would make sense as a trade target for them. The 29-year-old has a bargain $2.75 million cap hit until the end of the 2027-28 season and would be a solid fit on Montreal's second pairing.
