Jakub Dobes is continuing to put together strong bounce-back games.

The Montreal Canadiens picked up a huge 5-1 win over the Buffalo Sabres in Game 2. With this, the Canadiens have tied the series up at 1-1 as they head back to Montreal for Games 3 and 4.

Jakub Dobes was certainly a notable reason for the Canadiens' Game 2 victory over the Sabres, as he had a strong performance. The 24-year-old goalie stopped 28 out of 29 Sabres shots, which equates to an excellent .966 save percentage.

Dobes putting together this bounce-back game was big for the Canadiens, as they are now in a far better spot than they could have been heading to Game 3. It also continued a great trend.

According to Sportsnet Stats, Dobes now has a 4-0 record, a 1.49 goals-against average, and a .946 save percentage this post-season following a loss. With this, there is no question that the young goaltender's bounce-back ability has been elite this post-season, and he will be continuing to look to impress.

In nine games this post-season for the Habs, Dobes has a 5-4 record, a 2.14 goals-against average, and a .917 save percentage. The 2020 fifth-round pick has been excellent this season, and it will be intriguing to see how he builds on it from here.
