Nick Suzuki had some kind words about his goaltender.

Montreal Canadiens goalie Jakub Dobes is a big reason why the Habs are just one win away from advancing to the Eastern Conference Final. The 24-year-old has been excellent this post-season, as he has a 7-5 record, a 2.28 goals-against average, and a .914 save percentage in 12 games. He also recently stopped 33 out of 36 shots he faced in the Canadiens' 6-3 win over the Sabres in Game 5.

Dobes' strong play has grabbed the attention of Nick Suzuki, as the Canadiens captain had some big praise for his starting goalie.

"I just think he’s super confident in himself. He puts the work in off the ice to have his mental training where it needs to be. He’s a fighter. He wants to be in the battle with the guys. He’s got the perfect kind of attitude in a goalie for sure," Suzuki said about Dobes.

These are certainly some kinds word from Suzuki for Dobes. It is clear that the young netminder is impressing the Canadiens star center, and it is also easy to understand why. Dobes has been playing some excellent hockey for the Canadiens this post-season, and it will be interesting to see how he builds on it from here.
