The Montreal Canadiens have a good chance at making the playoffs for the second year in a row. Nick Suzuki is certainly a big reason for it, as the star center is having another excellent season in 2025-26.
In 69 games this season with the Canadiens, Suzuki has recorded 24 goals, 61 assists, 85 points, and a plus-27 rating. With numbers like these, Suzuki has been simply fantastic for the Canadiens and is on pace to have another career year because of it.
Furthermore, if Suzuki stays healthy and consistent during this final stretch of the season, he will also have a good chance of hitting a major single-season milestone.
Suzuki needs only 15 more points to hit the 100-point mark for the first time in his career. When noting that the Canadiens still have 13 games remaining, the possibility of reaching 100 points before the campaign is over is undoubtedly there.
Suzuki has been heating up down the stretch, too. In his last 11 games, he has seven goals and 20 points. This included him having four assists in Montreal's most recent contest against the New York Islanders. With this, Suzuki is dominating right now.
Nevertheless, it will be very interesting to see if Suzuki can hit 100 points before the season is over from here.
