An update on Montreal Canadiens defenseman Noah Dobson is expected to be announced soon.
Montreal Canadiens defenseman Noah Dobson recently resumed skating for the first time since suffering an upper-body injury during the Habs' April 11 contest against the Columbus Blue Jackets. This is certainly a step in the right direction for the star blueliner.
Now, some more news has come out regarding Dobson.
According to TVA's Renaud Lavoie, an update on Dobson is expected to known within the next 48 hours.
The Canadiens will be hoping that they will get a good update on Dobson, as he is one of their most important players. While they currently have a 2-1 series lead over the Tampa Bay Lightning in the first round, they undoubtedly are missing all that Dobson provides on their blueline.
The Canadiens acquired Dobson from the New York Islanders during the offseason and quickly signed him to an eight-year, $76 million contract. In 80 regular-season games in 2025-26 with the Habs, the 26-year-old defenseman posted 12 goals, 35 assists, 47 points, and a plus-5 rating.
