Here's the latest on Canadiens star Noah Dobson.
The Montreal Canadiens are facing off against the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 7 on Sunday. This is a must-win game for the Canadiens, as a loss would end their playoff run.
Now, ahead of the Canadiens' Game 7 matchup against the Lightning, Habs head coach Martin St. Louis has provided an update on Noah Dobson.
St. Louis announced that Dobson will partcipate in pre-game warmup and is a game-time decision for Game 7.
Dobson has not played since April 11 against the Columbus Blue Jackets since suffering a thumb injury. With this, he has missed all six of the Canadiens' playoff games so far. Yet, with this update from St. Louis, it is possible that this could change for Game 7.
The Canadiens are certainly hoping that Dobson is good enough to go for Game 7. He is one of their best players and would give their lineup a massive boost if he is given the green light to play.
In 80 games this season with the Habs, Dobson posted 12 goals, 35 assists, 47 points, and a plus-5 rating.
