Mark your calendars: the Montreal Canadiens have released their preseason schedule for the 2024-25 hockey season.

Excerpt from 'Habs Hockey Report' of host Amy Johnson commenting on the new contract for goaltender Connor Hughes.

While it may officially be summer, Canadiens fans already have their eyes set on the fall calendar, especially now that the NHL has announced the league's 2024-25 preseason schedule.

The team will play six exhibition games in the leadup to the NHL's opening night, with four games at the Bell Centre and two on the road. The action returns to the ice in just a little over three months time.

The Montreal Canadiens will face their closest geographical competitors, the Ottawa Senators, twice in that timeframe, while also renewing their rivalry with a home-and-home date with the Toronto Maple Leafs. In addition, the Habs will play two matches with Metropolitan division teams, the Philadelphia Flyers and New Jersey Devils. You can find Montreal's complete preseason schedule below.
