Canadiens Star Jacob Fowler Earns Major Honor

Montreal Canadiens goalie Jacob Fowler has been absolutely fantastic for the Original Six club early on this season.

Now, he has been rewarded again for it. This is because Fowler has won the Molson Cup for the month of October.

This is just the latest honor that Fowler has earned due to his excellent play. This is because he was named the NHL Rookie of the Month for October and the NHL's Third Star of the Week for the period ending Oct. 28.

Given how well Fowler played in October, it makes sense that he has added the Molson Cup to his resume. In eight games during October for Montreal, he posted a 7-1-0 record, a .932 save percentage, a 1.84 goals-against average, and two shutouts. With numbers like these, he has been amazing for Montreal.

It will now be interesting to see what Fowler can do for the Canadiens in November. If he keeps playing like he did in October, the Habs will be in great shape.
