Last Summer, the Montreal Canadiens players had plenty of weddings to attend, with alternate captain Brendan Gallagher tying the knot with Emma Fortin in town, Josh Anderson and Paola Finizio doing the same in Italy, and Jake Evans and Emily Flat opting for Ireland. It will be captain Nick Suzuki’s and goaltender Samuel Montembeault’s turn this year.

While the actual date of the celebrations remains unknown, they must be approaching since the hen dos were held in the last few days. Gallagher’s wife published an Instagram post in which she showcases the tops the girls wore to kick off Daryanne Ayotte’s bachelorette as they boarded a plane to Montana. Montembeault’s future wife is a rodeo fan, judging by the destination and what was written on the tops.

As for the future Mrs. Suzuki, her bachelorette was held in Grand Bend, Ontario. She published a post in which the group was pictured, and in another photo, metallic balloons spelled out “Bride” and a headshot of the captain.

Where will the nuptials be held? It’s unknown for the goaltender, but if I were to bet, my money would be on a local wedding for Montembeault since both are from Quebec. They met at a corn festival in Saint-Celestin. She had no idea he was a hockey player, and when she was told, it took a while for her to even agree to a date, but seven years later, they are about to walk down the aisle.

As for the captain, a webpage in his and Fitzgerald’s name on theknot.com suggests the event will be held on July 8 in London, Ontario. But there's another page in their name which suggests it will be on July 26th in Quebec, but that one is password protected...While I’ve not received official confirmation that it is their webpage, it ticks all the boxes. We’ll know soon enough when pictures appear on social media in 46  or 64 days.
