Montreal Canadiens forward Zachary Bolduc just completed his first season with the Original Six club. In 78 games with Montreal in 2025-26, he posted 12 goals, 18 assists, 30 points, and 170 hits. Overall, he provided the Canadiens with a solid mix of secondary offensive production and plenty of grit.

This was after Bolduc had 19 goals, 17 assists, and 36 points in 72 games with the St. Louis Blues during the 2024-25 season. While the 2021 first-round pick's offense did drop slightly during his first season in Montreal, there is still plenty to be optimistic about when it comes to the young Canadiens forward.

With Bolduc being just 23 years old, there is still plenty of time for him to hit a new level for the Canadiens. This is especially so when noting that he only just finished his third NHL season. With that, it would not be surprising if Bolduc put together a big breakout year for the Canadiens next season.

If Bolduc can hit the 20-goal and 50-point marks next season, it would be significant for a Canadiens club that is looking to take another step in the right direction in 2026-27. The possibility of him doing so should not be ruled out, and it will be interesting to see what kind of season he has from here.
