Former Montreal Canadiens captain Max Pacioretty is back on injured reserve, listed by the Toronto Maple Leafs as week-to-week.

On Monday morning, the Toronto Maple Leafs announced that Max Pacioretty was now on injured reserve, listed as week-to-week, with a lower-body injury.

The former Montreal Canadiens captain is no stranger to being on injured reserve, having skated in only 104 out of a possible 262 games (39.6%) over the past four seasons.

In July 2022, he tore his Achilles tendon with the Carolina Hurricanes and reinjured it with the Washington Capitals the following season. He had a modest production (23 points) last season when he returned and earned a PTO with Toronto ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.

Through 13 games this season, Pacioretty has two goals and six points.

The 17-year veteran, initially drafted 22nd overall by the Canadiens in the 2007 Draft, played ten seasons in Montreal, serving as captain for three years. He has skated in 915 games and scored 332 goals with 674 points.
