The Hockey Hall of Fame announced Thursday that tickets for this year's induction ceremony are now available.

The Hockey Hall of Fame announced on Thursday that ticket packages are available for the upcoming Class of 2024 ceremony, which will feature former Montreal Canadiens captain Shea Weber.

From Nov. 8 to 11, fans can buy tickets to the induction ceremony (Nov. 11) and upgrade to VIP packages, which include meet-and-greets with this year's Class, including Pavel Datsyuk and Jeremy Roenick.

The Canadiens are promoting the event so fans can get tickets to celebrate Weber's introduction and meet the defenseman who played five seasons with the organization.

Weber remains the last captain to lead Montreal to the Stanley Cup Final, where they lost to the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2021.

However, Weber's induction this year has raised many eyebrows across the league's fan bases since he's still under contract with the Utah Hockey Club until the conclusion of the 2025-26 season.

While Weber gets his plaque in the Hall in Toronto, many former players are still waiting for their call, some for over a decade. Although the merits of who is worthy or not could be discussed another day, the fact that the selection committee pushed him while an NHL team still pays him makes it quite a curious decision.
