Jacob Fowler Wins Richter Award

Jacob Fowler has won the Mike Richter Award. He was one of four finalists but the Montreal Canadiens top goalie prospect walked away with the award. This was the second time he was nominated but he didn’t win in 2023-24.

He was second in the nation in goals against average. 1.64 is exceptional. His seven shutouts also ranked second. Fowler had a .940 save percentage and that ranked him third. He was third in wins with 24 as well. Fowler led Hockey East in all four categories.

The future is bright for the talented netminder. He is now a professional and the rest will be fun to watch.
