With numbers like these, he is cementing himself as a star, and the Canadiens are benefiting from it big time.
Slafkovsky is only continuing to stay hot as the season rolls on. The 21-year-old winger is currently on a six-game point streak, where he has four goals and five assists over that span. This included him scoring two goals and recording two assists in Montreal's most recent contest against the New York Islanders on Saturday. He also has 15 points in his last 10 games.
With all of this, there is no question that Slafkovsky is having a big year with the Canadiens. It will be interesting to see how he finishes it off from here.
