The Canadiens have been named one of the suitors for Bruins forward Pavel Zacha.

In a recent article for Sportsnet, Nick Kypreos reported that the Canadiens are among the teams interested in Boston Bruins center Pavel Zacha.
"The Bruins are in a real pickle with 29-year-old Zacha and teams like Nashville, Columbus, Philadelphia and Montreal are watching closely," Kypreos wrote.
Hearing that the Canadiens have Zacha on their radar makes sense. It is clear that they could use an upgrade at their second-line center spot, and acquiring Zacha would provide them with just that.
With Zacha entering the final season of his contract with the Bruins, many questions have come up regarding his future with Boston. If the Bruins end up making him available for trade, it would not be surprising if the Canadiens made a serious run for him.
Zacha appeared in 78 games last season with the Bruins, where he posted 30 goals, 35 assists, and 65 points. With numbers like these, he would be a nice addition for a Canadiens club that could use a boost at the center position.
Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see if the Canadiens can land Zacha this season from the Bruins.
