Which teams could look to sign Patrik Laine in free agency?
Patrik Laine will very likely be hitting the free agent market on July 1, as he is simply no longer a fit on the Montreal Canadiens' roster.

Los Angeles Kings
The Kings have been linked to Laine in the past and desperately need more scoring. Because of this and this year's free agency class being incredibly weak, it would not be surprising at all if the Kings targeted Laine next week.
Tampa Bay Lightning
The Lightning could use another scoring winger, so they could be another team to keep an eye on when it comes to Laine. It would be understandable if the Bolts took a gamble on Laine with a one-year, prove-it deal. If he regained his previous form, he could work very well on a line with Jake Guentzel and Brayden Point.
New Jersey Devils
The Devils need to find a skilled winger to play on a line with Jesper Bratt and Jack Hughes. With this and there not being a lot of notable pending UFA wingers this year, they could be a team that takes a chance on Laine.
