There are 60 active NHL players from Quebec. Who has the most points, and which current Montreal Canadiens players are on the list?

According to statistics from NHL.com, there are 60 active players from Quebec. Although the Montreal Canadiens no longer load their roster with talent from their home province, they still employ a few skaters, two of whom are included in this list.

Today, we want to look at the active leading scorers from the province, which includes several former Canadiens players who either began their careers with the organization or stopped by at some point.

  • Anthony Beauvillier - Sorel-Tracy, QC (246 points)

  • Anthony Duclair - Pointe-Claire, QC (303 points)
  • Yanni Gourde - Saint-Narcisse, QC (316 points)
  • Jonathan Drouin - Ste-Agathe, QC (337 points)
  • Pierre-Luc Dubois - Ste-Agathe-Des-Monts, QC (342 points)

Of the 15 names on this list, Drouin, Danault, Savard, and Matheson have all dressed for the Canadiens at some point, with the latter two on the 2024-25 roster. 

Moreover, only five Stanley Cup winners are on the list: Perron, Letang, Marchessault, Gourde, and Savard.

Overall, Marcel Dionne is the highest-scoring player from Quebec in NHL history, with 1,771 points, followed by Mario Lemieux (1,723), Ray Bourque (1,579), Luc Robitaille (1,394), and Guy Lafleur (1,353).
