Michael Hage, a Montreal Canadiens prospect with the University of Michigan, continues to lead his team in scoring.

The University of Michigan Wolverines are 2-1 through three games and are looking to return to the NCAA Frozen Four with Montreal Canadiens first-round draft pick Michael Hage leading the way.

On Friday night against Arizona State University, the 18-year-old tallied his second goal of the season, the Wolverine's third of the night in a 4-1 win.

Through three games, Hage, who was drafted 21st overall in 2024, has five points in nine periods of hockey to lead the team in scoring as a freshman. Surprisingly, Hage maintains a 100% shooting percentage, registering only two shots on goal this season and finding the back of the net on each one.

Meanwhile, he continues to chip away at his plus/minus totals, finishing Friday's contest at even. After starting the year minus-3, he's bumped his numbers up to minus-1 and gets another opportunity to improve them again in a rematch against Arizona State on tap for Saturday night.

The Wolverines are loaded with NHL-drafted prospects, including Jackson Hallum (Vegas), Nicholas Moldenhauer (Toronto), William Whitelaw (Columbus), Christian Humphreys (Colorado), Kienan Draper (Detroit), and Ethan Edwards (New Jersey).

Thus far, only Hage, Hallum, Moldenhauer, and Whitelaw had collected a point this season.
