Montreal Canadiens draft pick Jacob Fowler is doing his best to lead the Boston College Eagles back to the Frozen Four.

The Montreal Canadiens are full of youngsters who make their mark at various hockey levels, whether in the NHL, KHL, or the NCAA.

Lost in the shuffle of trending stories about Ivan Demidov, Joshua Roy, and Michael Hage is netminder Jacob Fowler, who is back for his second season at Boston College.

Last year, he helped the Eagles reach the Frozen Four but lost in the National Championship game.

Now, three games into the 2024-25 campaign, Fowler already has two shutouts, including a 5-0 victory (20 saves) over American International College on Friday Night.

The 19-year-old's only blemish this year is a 4-3 loss to Michigan State University on Oct. 12, in which he made 25 saves.

The recently named Hockey East Goaltender of the Week began the season with a 3-0 shutout win on Oct. 11 against Michigan State, where he made 24 saves.

Overall, Fowler is 2-1-0 with a 1.35 GAA and .945 SV%. During his first year at Boston College, he was 32-6-1 with a 2.14 GAA and .926 SV%.
