The Montreal Canadiens ECHL affiliate opens the 2024-25 regular season at Colisee Videotron.

The ECHL released the 2024-25 regular season schedule during the Kelly Cup finals that saw the Florida Everblades win the championship for a third consecutive season.

The Trois-Rivieres Lions kick off their fourth season by hosting the Reading Royals (Philadelphia Flyers) on Friday October 18th at Colisee Videotron.

The 72-game schedule will see the Canadiens ECHL affiliate face division rivals Worcester Railers (New York Islanders) and Adirondack Thunder (New Jersey Devils) 15 times each. It is safe to assume that these teams will not like each other by April.

Trois-Rivieres Lions 2024-25 regular season schedule

With the Newfoundland Growlers ceasing operations in April 2023, the Wheeling Nailers (Pittsburgh Penguins) moved from the Western Conference's Central division to the Eastern Conference's North division. Trois-Rivieres will face their new division rivals six times during the season.

The Lions longest stints away from Colisee Videotron will be from December 8 to 22, and January 10 to 19, when they hit the road for two six-game road trips. Last season, a seven-game road trip from November 22 to December 3, where the team won two times, began a spiral of seven wins in a span of 31 games.

The longest homestand occurs from February 22 to March 9, when Ron Choules' squad will play eight straight at Colisee Videotron, hosting the Thunder two times, Norfolk Admirals (Winnipeg Jets and Carolina Hurricanes) and Railers three times each.

The organization announced that it will hold its first affiliation game of its young history. The details will be provided at a later date and it is expected that the Montreal Canadiens and the Laval Rocket will be involved.
