Draft analyst Russ Cohen identified the Canadiens best options with the fifth overall pick in June's draft and added selections for Montreal's second, first-round pick.
With just over a month until the NHL Entry Draft at the Sphere in Las Vegas, the Montreal Canadiens are zeroing in on their choices at fifth overall while trying to determine what the four teams ahead of them will be doing.
To sort through the options, we invited Russ Cohen, a highly respected sports author, hockey analyst and prospect evaluator, to the Canadiens Connection podcast. Cohen is an American scout for Elite Prospects and is a contributor to Sirius XM NHL Radio, EP Rinkside, and Off The Post Radio podcast.
