Five Montreal Canadiens players, including Juraj Slafkovsky, made significant strides in their development by exceling at the IIHF World Championship.

While Montreal's season is done, the had five players and prospects participating in the 2024 IIHF World Championship in Prague, Czechia. It is an opportunity to represent their country, compete with and against high-quality players, and audition for future international tournaments like the Four Nations Cup and the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Vinzenz Rohrer (Austria), Cole Caufield (USA), Oliver Kapanen (Finland), Kaiden Guhle (Canada) and Juraj Slafkovsky (Slovakia) each rose to the challenge to deliver off-season excellence.
