This holiday season, the Habs could use some help from the North Pole's most famous resident. Here's what the should wish for!

This December, members of the Montreal Canadiens could be ho-ho-hoping for some holiday help from jolly old St. Nick to propel them into the new year. But with a lot of issues yet still unresolved in the course of the team's rebuild, where does one start?

Well, let's see...there's the power play, of course. There are big, untenable contracts still on the books. There are prospects to develop, injuries to overcome, and a mess in the crease to clean up. Josh Anderson seems to have found his way back to lighting the lamp, but can he build on that? What about the defense? Sure, there's a good crop of young talent on the blue line, but what areas need to be strengthened back there?

It can be a lot to consider when whittling down what to ask for from the big guy in the sleigh. So to help, I sat down and wrote up my own list to send to Kris Kringle on the Habs' behalf. What did I ask for?

Well, some requests are general, some are quite specific. Some involve the entire team, others involve individual players, and one even affects the entire organization!

And what, specifically did I ask on behalf of Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki? Well, you're going to have to watch my latest edition of Habs Hockey Report to reveal my Habs Christmas list!
