Alex Newhook was injured on November 30th in a game versus the Florida Panthers. Newhook was subsequently diagnosed with a high ankle sprain. On December 2nd the Canadiens announced that he would be out of the lineup for 10-12 weeks.
Cole Caufield is underperforming the pre-season predictions of 40-50 goals. In February, Caufield had season-ending shoulder surgery. Canadiens fans are wondering whether there is a medical reason for his lack of scoring this season.
Rocket Sports medical consultant Dr. Stephen Morris joins the podcast to examine Newhook's high ankle sprain and the performance so far this season of Caufield.
