In addition to Nick Suzuki, let's examine some other Habs candidates worthy of receiving some fan votes to the 2024 NHL All-Star Game.

Excerpt from 'Habs Hockey Report' of host Amy Johnson commenting on changes to this year's NHL Skills Competition.

For the second consecutive year, Canadiens captain Nick Suzuki has been selected by the NHL to represent Montreal at the All-Star Game. Most memorable from his appearance at the 2023 event was Suzuki's deft skill during the 'Pitch 'n Puck' golf competition, where he put up the lowest score (-1) among his competitors. I wonder how much of that one-year's supply of Chipotle he's consumed? And in which event will the 24-year-old forward shine most this year?

And while we're asking All-Star questions, we can also wonder which of his teammates might also get a ticket to Toronto for the event, via the NHL All-Star fan vote?

Only 12 additional players, on top of the 32 already selected by the league, will be awarded a spot at the All-Star game through fan voting. That makes it statistically possible that Suzuki could be the sole representative of the Habs. Still, it's fun to think about some possibilities for who else would be deserving of some fan support through the voting process!

I've selected three players who I feel have earned a spot on your ballot: one obvious choice, one depth choice, and one rookie. Want to know who I've chosen, and why? Well, you're going to have to watch my latest edition of Habs Hockey Report to find out!
