After a storybook run of the calendar in the month of January, the Laval Rocket saw their regulation win streak come to an abrupt halt this week when they dropped two of three games against North Division rivals.
Both Syracuse and Rochester were able to best the Rocket while they were on the road this past weekend, tightening an already razor-thin race for positioning in the middle part of the division's standings.

Speaking of the All-Star Classic, rookie defenseman Logan Mailloux is the AHL's choice to represent Laval at the event.
