In an Instagram post on Thursday, Femme de Hockey revealed that, in addition to Laine, Jayden Struble, Alex Newhook, and Jakub Dobes would be taking part in the fashion show. While the tickets aren’t cheap, the entirety of the profits is going to the foundation and is in support of a worthy cause. In his first season in Montreal, Laine was once again affected by injury issues, starting with a serious knee injury suffered in preseason action that kept him out of the lineup until December. Still, he managed to score 33 points on the season, including 20 goals in just 52 games, and fell back in love with the game. He will be starting the last year of his four-year deal with an $8.7 million AAV when the puck drops on the season and will be hoping for a healthy year, which would allow him to sign a contract extension or to test his value on the market this Summer, unless of course he is traded at the deadline.
